Welcome to the Pre-K B Class!

Dear Parents,   Welcome to Pre K B in room 19/20.  My name is Raquel Wilson and I will be the lead teacher in the Pre K B room this year.  I have my Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work, from Valley Forge University.  After graduation I spent 2 years working with Chester County Early Intervention as a social worker.  I have 4 beautiful children and live here in New Holland.  I love working with children, and I am thrilled to get to know yours!  I hope that you are just as excited as I am about this new year, and I am looking forward to the growth that will take place as we work together to achieve excellence.  Our first day of the fall session will be on August 27th.
My goal is to provide a classroom where your child feels welcome and safe to take risks and explore the world around them.  We will continue using the same curriculum that Mrs. Dunys was using last school year.  We will dive into Language Arts, Math and Science in preparation for Kindergarten.  I will be sending home a weekly newsletter to help keep you up to date and informed about what your child is learning.  I want to work with you and your child for the best interest and success in Pre K B.
I am here for you and your child, so please do not hesitate to contact me with your questions, concerns, and encouragement.  If you need to meet with me, please let me know so we can set up a meeting.  I am ready for an amazing year, and I cannot wait to get to know you and your child!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Raquel Wilson
