Welcome to the Toddler 1 Class!

The Toddler 1 classroom consists of 2- and 3-year-olds who are developing potty training skills.

In the Toddler class, children’s language and social skills are developed by singing and dancing, daily language activities, structured learning centers, storybook reading, crafts and playtime. Gross motor skills are used in the gym with many balls and riding toys and on the Toddler playground. Children develop spiritually through weekly Bible lessons and monthly Chapel services. Our loving, patient staff gently guide the children in potty training in the Toddler I classroom. Children acquire bathroom skills by using toddler-sized training toilets and sinks conveniently located in their own bathroom!

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Welcome to the Toddler room!  My name is Hunter Boley and I will be your toddler’s teacher for the 2018 fall session.  I have worked at Kinder-Haus for a little over two years in the Toddler and infant rooms.   I live in Narvon with my son, who attends Kinder-Haus.   I look forward to having a lot of fun teaching and playing with your child this year.   While in the Toddler classroom, your child will be developing his/her social and language skills through playing, dancing, singing, reading stories, doing crafts and through structured learning centers.  We will also work on gross motor skills by playing on the Toddler playground, and by going to the gym for play with riding toys and balls.  As your child’s shows readiness, we will encourage them to start using the potty.  Accidents happen, but it is all part of them learning this new skill.  Some of our activities can get messy, so please try to dress your child in seasonally appropriate play clothing.

Here is a list of items your child will need this Fall:
  • Extra sets of season appropriate clothing (Shirts, pants/shorts, socks and underwear)
  • Diapers or pull ups
  • Wipes
  • Diaper rash cream (if needed)
  • One crib sheet and blanket for naptime (Please no large blankets or pillows)
*Please label all items with your child’s first and last name   Please be sure to check your child’s locker at the end of the day for important papers or things that need to go home with you.   If our staff does not recognize the person coming to pick up your child, including yourself, please expect to be asked for photo identification.  This is for the safety and protection of your child.  We ask for your patience and understanding in this matter!   I am looking forward to meeting you and your child.  The first day of the Fall Session will be August 27, 2018.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at Kinder Haus.

Thank you,

Miss. Hunter Boley
