Meet Our Staff


Steve Kindt

Lead Pastor
Steve has served on staff here in many different roles. From 1993 to 1999 he served as the youth pastor with responsibilities in other areas as well. He then spent 11 years as the lead pastor at the Bethany Church of the Nazarene in Harrisburg, PA. Steve came back to New Holland in 2010 in the role of executive pastor with additional responsibilities in the areas of worship and small group ministries. In 2016, following the retirement of founding and 40 year pastor, Ken Mingledorff, Steve became the church’s Lead Pastor.
Steve grew up in Halifax, PA. He graduated from Eastern Nazarene College and completed a Master’s degree at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He was ordained in 1996. Steve enjoys listening to, singing, playing, writing, and arranging just about any style of music. He enjoys golf, fishing, and watching sports (mostly Philadelphia teams). Steve is married to Missy who is a French teacher for Hershey Public Schools. She loves to travel, read, and sing. Steve and Missy have two children, Megan and Nathan, Both are students at Eastern Nazarene College.
Steve is passionate about the local church and it’s mission. The body of Christ exists to make Christ-like disciples. This happens in many different ways but is always driven by a vibrant relationship with Christ.

Darin Parry

Youth & Young Adults Pastor

Pastor Darin joined the staff at New Holland Nazarene in June of 2009. He joins us from Melrose, MA with his lovely wife, Marcia,and 3 beautiful daughters, Ashley, Kayla, and Mia. Pastor Darin is a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College, as well as Nazarene Theological Seminary. He loves playing with his daughters, going for walks with Marcia, hanging out with teens, and serving the Lord.

Pastor Darin believes God cares about our joys, sorrows, fears, and hurts. That’s why God sent Jesus to calm the storms of life, to teach us the rhythms of His grace, and to reveal God’s insatiable love for us! Along the way we laugh, cry, serve, share, and grow together.

Allyson Vrabel

Children’s Pastor
Pastor Ally joined the staff at New Holland Nazarene in August of 2016. She joined us from Chicago Heights, Il. with her nephews, Jonathan and Tyler, their three dogs, Joe, Lee, and Sam. and their cat, Oliver.
Pastor Ally graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Children’s Ministry. She loves spending time with her nephews and her dogs, coffee, all things super heroes, having epic Nerf Wars, hanging out with children, and teaching them about Jesus.
Pastor Ally believes that families play a vital role in the church and seeks to equip families to be the spiritual disciplers of their children. She believes that every child, no matter how small, is fully capable of having an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and seeks to cultivate spiritual growth in the children’s department.

Kim Weller

Kinder-Haus Director

Kim has called New Holland Nazarene her church home for over 20 years. From 1998 – 2004, she served Kinder-Haus as a preschool teacher and department supervisor. In 2004, she accepted the position of Kinder-Haus Director and served in that capacity until 2012. After spending time in other administrative positions, Kim returned as the Kinder-Haus Director in January, 2019. Kim is an active member of New Holland Nazarene’s worship team, playing the piano/keyboard. Kim also teaches private piano lessons in her home.
Kim earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in music from York College of PA in 1988 and is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from NorthCentral University. Kim and her husband, Steve, live in New Holland and are parents to six grown children and grandparents to two little girls. Kim enjoys playing the piano, cooking for others, traveling, and making jewelry. Kim’s passion as the Kinder-Haus Director is to (1) teach our children about Jesus and His love for them so that they can enjoy a lifelong relationship with the Savior and (2) equip children with a strong educational foundation to enable them to be independent, successful, productive contributors to our community.

Sarah Miller

Office Administrator
Sarah joined the Church Office in February of 2017, although she has been attending and involved at NHCN for more than 20 years. She lives in East Earl with her husband and two daughters.
Sarah’s top two favorite bible verses are “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12, and “The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14.
