King’s Closet Free Clothing Bank

Welcome to King’s Closet! We are a free clothing store (yes, everything is FREE) located at 432 Ranck Rd, New Holland on the premises of the New Holland Church of the Nazarene. Hours of operation:
We are open the 3rd Saturday morning of every month from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM.
Please note there are no public restrooms available. Donations: If you would like to donate, donations will only be accepted during the hours we are open.  We would appreciate gently used items that are still in great condition.  We accept clothing only (including coats, winter accessories, purses, shoes, etc.) for men, women, kids, and babies.  We do not accept household goods, baby items, furniture, etc. Way to connect: Find us on Facebook at “King’s Closet – New Holland”.  Be sure to “like” the page so you can receive updates about specific inventory items, and updates about closures due to inclement weather. If you have any specific questions not answered below, please feel free to contact us at and we will get back to you as soon as possible. *Please note*: We are a clothing only ministry and unfortunately cannot help in situations in which shelter/food/financial aid are needed.  If you know of someone who needs these services, please contact ELANCO Social Services at (717)354-3776.
We reserve the right to limit the number of items that can be taken during any specific day due to low inventory, etc. This will be clearly marked.  Dealers are not allowed on the premises.  Items can not be taken for the purpose of resale
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can anyone come to shop? Yes!  We are open to serve anyone in the community and surrounding communities, regardless of income or church affiliation. Can I donate clothing? Yes!  We will accept donations only during the hours we are open. Please check for signage during our open hours as to what types/sizes of donations we are currently accepting due to space limitations. This info can also be found on our FB age, or you can message us through there as well to check!
What if I don’t find what I’m looking for? Since we are completely donation-based, our inventory will change weekly.  If you don’t find something the first time, please feel free to visit another time.  We cannot hold sizes/styles for people.
Is there a limit to what I can take? We reserve the right to place a limit on the number of items people take on a given day based on our inventory. There will be signs letting you know how many items can be taken for the day.
Do you have anything besides clothes? We are only currently accepting coats, clothing, shoes, and accessories (purses, scarves, etc.) for men, women, kids, and babies.  We are not currently accepting housewares, furniture, baby items, etc.
Can I bring my kids to shop?
Absolutely! We do have a special playroom for kids where they can relax, play, color, listen to music, do puzzles, etc. while you shop!  Just please be aware you are fully responsible for your children while you are here.
Can you accommodate people on an emergency basis? We want to help and will do our best to accommodate emergency situations.  If you know of someone who would need clothing for his or her family on an emergency basis, please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate you. Can I volunteer? Yes! We will accept any help you want to give!  Whether accepting donations from friends and dropping the items off during working hours, helping get our name out by sharing our page, or showing up on a Saturday morning to help us sort, we are appreciative of any help available. School students are also more than welcome to coordinate with us to fulfill their volunteer service project hours as well! There is no need to arrange with us ahead of time. If you’d like to help, please just show up!  One of the many goals of this ministry is to teach kids and teens how to serve without expecting anything in return, so feel free to bring your family along and we will find something for everyone to do!  Just please be mindful of your children’s ages, and if they would be old enough or mature enough to be a help.
Is your store ADA accessible?
We currently have two sets of ramps that allow for both entrance onto the porch and also into the building. Our volunteers would be happy to offer assistance during entering, if needed, and also while navigating through the store to pick out items.  If you let us know in advance what they are looking for and their size and style preference, we’d be happy to gather clothing for pick up during open hours.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. ~Colossians 3:17
