“Conversations with God: “Peter”
Posted by Steve Kindt
As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon Called Peter and his brother Andrew.  They were casting a next into the lake, for they were fisherman.  "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people."  At once they left their nets and follwed him. -Matthew 4:18 - 20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and game himself for me.- Galatians 2:20

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'"

Do you really trust God?  If you knew...really knew that God was calling you to do something that was a ridiculously painful sacrifice, would you be willing?  Or would you ignore God and do it your own way.

Hey, I'm talking to you!  Yeah, you.  It's me, God.  Here in the burning bush.  What's it gonna take for me to get your attention.  Will you listen to me?  Will you live for me?  BTW - take off your shoes, your're on holy ground!

Arguments at home. Ugly debates on social media. Fist fights at school. Feuds at work. Battle lines in politics. It seems like it’s getting harder and harder to find a deep meaningful relationships that aren’t being splintered by conflict. How important is it that Christians are loving and caring? And why is it so hard to get along with people? What does it look like to love my neighbor as myself?
